Mesabi East Recreation
Mesabi East Recreation is your main spot for the areas youth sports information. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic Rec looks a little different this year. However, we have been offering activities to a large age range of youth. The MSHSL has announced a Basketball season so we will are offering Elementary Basketball this winter as long as things stay stable and MDH guidlines allow us. Sign ups are now open through Friday November 13th for that activity. Please contact Mark Goerdt with any questions or concerns. To register your child for an activity click on "Rec Programs" in the upper right corner, then choose the sport from the drop down menu. There is a sign up link on each page., in order to make these programs viable and successful volunteer coaches/chaperones are needed for all levels of play. Our youth, community, and myself greatly appreciate our volunteer coaches. Coach packets that must be completed can be found on each sports page as well.
Concussion awareness is becoming more and more important in the sports world. It is now a requirement that we make concussion information readily available to all parent's and participants. Below you will find a printable pdf form with relevant concussion information for our participants and parents.
