Mesabi East Area Rec Activities

Summer Baseball

Summer Baseball starts the beginning of June and ends late July or early August. The age groups are as follows:

  • T-Ball (4-6 years)

  • Coach Pitch (6-8 years)

  • Little League Minors Baseball (8-10 years)

  • Little League Majors Baseball (10-12 years)

  • Babe Ruth Baseball (13-15 years)

  • Jr Legion

  • Sr Legion

Softball Catcher

Summer Softball

 

Summer Softball is a program that starts in early June and ends in late July. The age groups are as follows:

  •  8U (6-8)

  • 10U (8-10)

  • 12U (10-12)

  • 14U (12-14)

  • 18U (15-18)

Football

Flag Football

Flag Football is for kids grades 2-3, and grades 4-6. Games are on Sundays and teams are made up of 10 kids per team.

Elementary Volleyball

Elementary Volleyball is a fall rec. program for girls grades 2-6. This program will help develop girls V-Ball skills before they reach the Junior High level.

Basketball Class

County League Basketball

Rec. Basketball for girls and boys grades 4-6. County League is a winter rec. program where the teams will compete in games against other communities.  For more info on County League Basketball, click the learn more button below.

Basketball Game

Pony League Basketball

Rec. Basketball for girls and boys grades Kindergarten to 3rd grade. This league is for developing fundamental skills at a young age. For more info on Pony League Basketball, click the learn more button below.

Soccer Practice

East Range Soccer

East Range Soccer offers 3 separate programs.  We have a Fall soccer program for 2nd-6th graders. A spring soccer program for the youth in grades Pre K-6th and we also offer a 19U Summer program. For more information, click the learn more button below.

 Frisbee Golf
